YouTube is testing floating picture-in-picture videos on the web

YouTube might bring one of its mobile apps’ most useful multitasking features to the desktop version. The platform has started testing picture-in-picture playback on desktop, a feature that continues playing your video inside a small floating panel when you navigate to other parts of the site.
