For CBS, however, the question looming over “Discovery” is whether the decision to place one of the most expensive shows in TV history on a platform where it will be initially exposed to fewer than 2 million potential U.S. viewers is a good business move. Part one of the premiere will debut on CBS, with part two available to watch immediately after on All Access, where all subsequent episodes will debut weekly.
